MEGAN LAWSON PRITCHETT: I am a full time mother of three young sons ages 6,5, and 2 and I love working out and running which is why I'm teaching Torch Fitness Boot Camp. I moved to Charleston from Atlanta over a year ago and am glad to be "home" having graduated from CofC (a few) years back (ok it was the late 90's). I am very passionate about exercise and living a healthful lifestyle because after having three babies in three years I know that my workouts are the gift I give myself. I finally realized that I'm worthy of "me" time. The nagging martyr Joan of Arc voice in my head no longer has an audience because I acknowledge the healthier I am the better mother I can be to my children. Aside from getting leaner and fitting into those darn low waisted jeans (we all battle muffin top) I know that I'm increasing bone density, maintaining heart health (biggest killer of women is HEART DISEASE!)and prolonging the life of my joints.
